Shopping Turkey
It's official.
I'm not talking about shopping for turkeys here! After a 2 week spending bender while back home in the UK (via a very naughty frivolous spending spree in Hong Kong airport) I am on a strict 4 week shopping ban. Mr Jack will be very very pleased and surprised in equal measures when I pull this one off.
That is 4 weeks without purchasing a thing.I am being strict with myself and including: clothes, accessories (jewellry, shoes, bags) and beauty products.
This makes my palms a little bit sweaty already.
So, instead of buying new, I will be documenting my trials and tribulations as I aim to re-cycle and up-cycle my old over the next 4 weeks to turn them in to new looks. I am quite excited for the challenge.
Any hints / tips / advice from you fellow shopaholics out there who might have enforced a similar ban on themselves?

Snaps of Easter
Hope that you have all had a wonderful Easter!
I've had the busiest but most fabulous long weekend. After a brilliant night out with the girls at an Easter Camp Party with the fabulous Tootsie Roller pin-ups on Thursday night I caught up with my best buddies from school over a scrummy Easter lunch and had the wonderful wedding of my best friend's sister; had the very special pleasure of many dances with father of the bride and the bride's brothers - too many gorgeous men to choose from!! The rest of the weekend was spent playing pictionary with little cousins and of course eating Easter eggs.
How have you spent your Easter holidays?

Back Home!
Sorry - I have been massively awol. I've been busy busy before going on a trip back home... but that is NO excuse.
Last thursday I embarked on my much anticipated holiday to the homeland. Its been 13 months since I've been back in the UK and I couldn't wait to see my family for a cwtch (a cute welsh word for cuddle!) or give london and my gorgeous londonium friends a massive smackarooney.
Isn't it amazing how a city can make you feel? I love london! I really miss the individual style that covets these gold leaf streets, the hair styles, the amazing accessorizing and most of all I appreciate how stylish London folk look in the cold. Its a tough feat: pulling off layers without looking frumpy - something I haven't mastered! I'm lapping up the latest looks in prep for the Sydney autumn that awaits my return.
As the British weather has taken a turn for the cold (after an amazingly hot March, sods luck) my lookbook has been a bit schitzophrenic since being home, I was prepped for spring but have had to be creative with few layers... here are a few of my looks since being in The Don.
Look 1: Pants (Oasis), Top (Zara), Blazer (Zara), Shows (Wittner), Necklace (Lovissa), Watch (Marc by Marc Jacobs)
Look 2: Skirt (Oasis), Top (Zara), Belt (Jigsaw), Necklace (Warehouse), Watch (Marc by Marc Jacobs)
Look 3: Skirt (Alannah Hill), Cardigan (Alannah Hill), Shoes (Wittner)
PS Sorry the pics are poor quality, I am using an old phone that my Daddy has given me to use while home :-)
